Carbon/nutrients/oxygen on Meteor 82/2
Dear all,
The university of Bremen will conduct a cruise with RV Meteor
in the subpolar North Atlantic from August 5th to September 1st in 2010.
Ports of departure/arrival are St. John's (Newfoundland) and Pta Delgada
(Azores), see attached map for cruise track and planned hydrographic
stations (in yellow). Despite from mooring work, we will perform CTD-O
measurements and take offline CFC samples on this cruise. Is somebody of
you interested in taking carbon/nutrient and oxygen samples?
These measurements would be a nice completion to the planned
hydrographic program. You can send 1-2 people on board of the Meteor (on
your cost), and there might be the possibility that an apprentice will
support your group in sampling and measuring.
For further information you can contact the chief scientist Monika Rhein
(mrhein@physik.uni-bremen.de).
Best regards
Reiner
