We are seeking an individual to work on a project examining the coupled biogeochemistry of arsenic and phosphorus in the surface ocean. This will include going on the first US GEOTRACES North Atlantic Zonal Section Expedition in Oct-Dec 2010. A Ph.D. in Oceanography, Chemistry, or related discipline at the time of appointment and the ability to work at sea are required. Experience with the determinations of nutrients and/or trace elements at ultra-trace levels is highly desirable. Funding for the position may last up to 2 years.
